Hobbies

Too much stuff involved and this is because I'm curious and I try to understand always new things I encounter during my life, but here is a list of things I keep on going only for my pleasure:

• Books

  I'm used to read much, starting with manuals of my electronic equipments, programming books and more recreative books, especially fantasy and sci-fi ones.
  You may guess from my nick what kind of books I like, didn't you? Well, Shannara's saga from Terry Brooks is my preferred series, but I still have some books written by Terry Brooks I have to read: one of them is ready on my desk and it's Bearers of the Black Staff.
  I will never understand why titles translated in italian are so misleading: the italian title is "L'ultimo cavaliere" that in english is "The Last Knight"... WHY? -_-'
  
  Recently (this year, 2024) I've read The Peripheral by William Gibson and I've to say that it was interesting, with a good story and strong cyberpunk vibes even if in some points it wasn't too clear to me what's happening.
  I assume that the writer was giving for granted some concepts, but all in all it's a good book with really interesting ideas!
  I've found that there is a sequel called Agency and I think I'll get the book for Christmas, I'm too curious about the characters and some other things that were not explained at all.
